In the beginning of becoming a marriage counselor, I was faced with one of the most difficult questions, why do marriages fail? I pondered on this question for a while.  One afternoon, I was reading the bible and came upon this verse, “ My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee”(Hosea 4:6). After reading this statement, it felt like I was being shot with a gun. I believe it was God answering me on why marriages fail?  Let’s look at it from this viewpoint, if you want to be a professional in your field, you go to school or get some type of training. Around 95% of the things we do in this world require some form of education.  Getting an education gives you the stepping-stone to master your field of profession. Most of the task that we fail on this earth doesn’t require education. A great aspect of our lives that humans tend to fail is marriage. I have discovered the reason marriages fail is because of lack of knowledge. In 2014, God gave me a revelation to open Odo University as a solution to broken marriages. My mission is to bring growth within your relationship.  Knowledge is the key to growth in relationships. Like watering plants daily, marriage requires knowledge daily. Since the establishment of the Odo University, there have been blessings and testimonies from people confessing how it has craved success in their marriage.
